Step by step, you will learn to map out your ideas using quick thumbnail sketches and outlines, before diving into the mechanics of panel layout to master narrative flow and guide your reader’s eye. From there, you'll explore composition and blocking to bring depth and dramatic tension to your pages. Finally, you will breathe life into your worlds by mastering the professional, atmospheric techniques of ink wash, composition, and shading. By the end of the course, you will not only walk away with a wealth of new artistic skills and a mind cleared of clutter, but you will also take home your entire portfolio of original work from the final session.
