Slow down, get your hands messy, and discover the potter’s wheel. This all-levels course combines relaxation and creativity, turning simple earth into functional art. Whether you want to unwind after work or explore a new craft, you will move at your own pace in a supportive environment.

We will guide you step-by-step through wedging and centering, before moving into throwing, altering forms, and assembling shapes on the wheel. Beyond the spin, you will experiment with various glazing techniques and learn to use studio tools to finish your work.

Tuition covers everything you need: 22.5 pounds of clay, tools, glazes, and session firings. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to learn. Be sure to wear clothes that you are okay with getting dirty.

With an 8:1 student-to-instructor ratio, you get direct guidance tailored to your goals. You will leave with finished ceramic pieces and a grounding, fun new skill.
